Miles was developed with flexibility in mind to manage the full business life cycle of a leasing company. From contracts in private lease to company vehicle lease or subscription-based usage, all from a single platform.
As a software engineer within our Miles Core team, you're not only maintaining an existing product; you're contributing to its evolution.
Extending Miles Core with new/improved generic features.
Performing technical analysis, design and implementation for back-end and front-end applications.
Addressing non-functional requirements f.i. security, performance and technical upgrades to the platform.

As a Software Engineer, it is also key to be able to keep the bigger picture in mind and how different elements are intertwined.
Problem-solving is one of your strongest abilities, and you do this in a methodical way. If you are a team player as well, you’re the perfect blend.
We’d love to see the following aspects as well:
Several years (3+) of experience in an engineering role within an enterprise software product environment.
Proficiency in Java and Java EE
Knowledge of relational databases like Oracle, SQL Server.
Experience working in an Agile way.
Fluent in English, as we are an international and multicultural company. Dutch is a plus.
Knowledge in GWT/SmartGWT is a plus.
